They decided to meet on Tuesday, Jan. 20 to interview the top three or four candidates. There was discussion about which questions to ask the applicants.
John officially notified Town Clerk about resigning since he was officially notified by the (new) governor’s office and submitted a resignation letter to selectmen. His last date as of the town’s contract is Feb. 20 or sooner if BOS allows.
The board voted all in favor to individually rank the top 5 or 6 candidates and submit then to John L. who will choose the top 3 or 4 to come in for interviews lasting about one hour each. John noted that he could start checking references and suggested selectmen check online.
